The Block’s Karstan Smith and Maxine Stokes announce they’re expecting their second child together
Former Block stars Karstan Smith and Maxine Stokes have revealed they’re expecting their second child together.
The couple, who appeared on the 2014 series The Block: Glasshouse, shared the exciting news to their joint Instagram account on Saturday.
Karstan and Maxine shared a photo with their daughter, Zuri, and wrote: ‘Sooo we’ve got some exciting news… Zu’s going to be a big sister!!’

In the image, the couple smiled for the camera alongside Zuri, while standing next to an arrow that says ‘baby’.
Karstan and Maxine are currently living full-time in a Kombi van while travelling around the country with their daughter.
They welcomed their daughter in 2019, announcing the news to Instagram at the time.

‘Hello World… Meet our girl ZURI. Earth side on 22.10.19 weighing in at 3750g & measuring 49.5cm. Both Max & bub are doing really well… even with the mind blowing 45 minute labour,’ they wrote.
The first-time parents look exhausted, but happy, in a photo showing them cuddling up to their newborn baby girl.
Max had been documenting her pregnancy as it progressed on Instagram, sharing a series of photos of her growing baby bump.
