The Block star Sarah-Jane Wilson has outed her husband Tom Calleja as a former ‘party bus host’ who would regularly shepherd teenagers around nightclubs with his shirt off.

She posted a photo of a young Tom, who bore a striking resemblance to Shannon Noll during his Australian Idol days, standing shirtless in a pair of low-rise jeans with his Bonds underpants poking out the top.

‘When a follower finds a photo of Tom while she was going through her old albums – circa party bus host,’ the mother of one wrote.

‘It’s the Bonds jocks with the low jeans for me.’ 

Several followers noted Tom, now 34, was a dead ringer for a young Shannon Noll, with one writing: ‘I thought Shannon Noll sang about a big black shiny car, not a bus.’

‘Had to look twice and check who was tagged. Thought it was Nollsy,’ another wrote.

‘I thought this was Shannon Noll at first glance,’ a third said.

Tom and Sarah-Jane, 30, were one of the more popular teams on The Block last year.

They were known for their strong work ethic but also their blazing rows.

During the finale, their renovated home in the Macedon Ranges went to auction with a reserve of $4.08million but sold for just $4.1million.

This meant they walked away with a meagre $20,000 for their efforts.

The couple were forced to sell their car to make up for the shortfall.
