Sarah Jessica Parker mingles with customers at the opening of the flagship SJP Collection store

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the opening of the flagship SJP Collection store in New York City on Saturday.

The 57-year-old performer mingled with numerous customers at the opening of her store, which will showcase various products from her footwear line.

The actress — who is currently working on the upcoming second season of And Just Like That — has previously spoken about designing shoes for her longtime character, Carrie Bradshaw.

Parker kept it casual during the opening, as she tucked a dark gray long-sleeve shirt into a pair of blue jeans.

The Divorce star also rocked a pair of sparkling blue high-heeled shoes and accessorized with several necklaces.

Her lovely blonde hair was tied into a lengthy ponytail and she wore a black facial mask to reduce her chances of contracting COVID-19 while spending time at the opening.

Parker co-founded SJP Collection alongside her business partner, George Malkmus, in 2014.

The performer first focused on designing high-heeled shoes for consumers before branching out into accessories.

The entrepreneur has since began offering various fragrances under her brand’s name and sells wine through a collaboration with winemaker Invivo.

She also designed several shoes that were worn by Bradshaw in the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That.

Parker spoke about working on her character’s wardrobe during an interview with FootwearNews, where she remarked that Bradshaw’s taste in shoes was an integral part of her personality.

‘As fans of the original series are well-aware, fashion and specifically footwear have always been a deeply important part of the storytelling, especially for my character,’ she said.

The performer went on to express that she saw the opportunity to create footwear for Bradshaw as a way to give her a new look on screen.

‘Knowing Carrie so intimately, I felt privileged to be in a position where I could work with George to design shoes from scratch that were…true to both her fevered love of footwear and evolution of character,’ she said.

Parker then recalled that creating shoes under a fake label for the show allowed her team to express themselves creatively through the offerings. 

‘It gave us an opportunity to revisit some important fashion references from the past while taking risks and being fantastical,’ she stated.

Surprise guest: Amy Sedaris was seen at Sarah Jessica Parker’s pop up shop in NYC on Saturday

Amy Sedaris, who is known for her roles in Elf and Puss in Boots, also made an appearance at the flagship SJP Collection shoe store.

The star was spotted browsing inside the store and posing for photos after completing her shopping spree. 

She was bundled up in a large black parka and a fluffy maroon hat to brave the NYC winter chill.

The Mandalorian actress also donned a pair of brown wide-legged trousers and black shoes.

Outside of the store the beauty was spotted holding a large bag. 

The bag was white with prints of several rows of colorful shoes and the side of the bag was labeled with SJP.

Amy made an appearance in the original Sex And The City television show from 2002-2003 for four episodes as Courtney Masterson.
