Paris Hilton shocked fans Tuesday when she revealed that she secretly welcomed a child, a baby boy, with her husband Carter Reum via surrogate.
The socialite, 41, made the announcement via Instagram, which included a photo of the new mom clutching onto her infant’s hand.
‘You are already loved beyond words,’ wrote Hilton, followed by a blue heart emoji.

‘It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,’ Hilton said in a statement to PEOPLE.
‘We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.’
She did not reveal details about the birth.
Though this is Hilton’s first child, Reum already shares a nine-year-old daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi.
Just one month ago, the Simple Life star shared that she and her husband had started an IVF journey during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
She told PEOPLE that they had ‘all of the eggs stocked and ready.’
The pair wed in November 2021.
