Natasha Lyonne dons Alessandra Rich tweed suit in NY and announces she’s directing her first feature

A week after wearing red at the premiere of her new series Poker Face, four-time Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne emerged from NBC Studios in Manhattan on Monday wearing quite the leggy look.

The 43-year-old native New Yorker looked sophisticated in a black-tweed Alessandra Rich blazer and matching mini-skirt with white hose and black pumps selected by stylist Cristina Ehrlich.

Natasha was ready for her HDTV close-up thanks to the rest of her glam squad – hairstylist Ursula Stephen, make-up artist Kabuki, and nail artist Sonya Belakhlef.

Lyonne (born Braunstein) was at TODAY to promote Rian Johnson’s new 10-episode ‘case-of-the-week’ mystery series – premiering this Thursday on Peacock – which she executive produces and stars in as casino worker Charlie Cale.

‘[Rian] is actually a genius. People, like, throw that word around a lot but he’s a really clean genius,’ the NYU Tisch drop-out gushed.

‘More importantly though, he’s a friend of mine and I really, really love this guy.’

Poker Face is a parade of stars including Chloë Sevigny, Clea DuVall, Adrien Brody, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Barkin, Benjamin Bratt, Judith Light, Nick Nolte, Ron Perlman, Charles Melton, Cherry Jones, Luis Guzmán, Dascha Polanco, Lil Rel Howery, Jameela Jamil, and Tim Meadows.

‘I’m not getting younger and the thing about that is now I guess what’s important to me is working with people that I really love and are in my life,’ Natasha noted.

‘You know, Chloë has been a sister to me now for 25 years. And [my But I’m a Cheerleader leading lady] Clea DuVall is also in it, who’s also like that. Janicza Bravo directs the finale. She’s a beautiful filmmaker, and we’re very tight. I think, in many ways, it was about creating this way to hang out with each other.’
