Moby was joined by Lindsay Hicks as they attended Slamdance for the premiere of his film Punk Rock Vegan Movie on Friday.  

The musician-turned-director, 57, posed with the actress on the red carpet as they celebrated his directorial debut film that opened for the indie film festival held in Park City, Utah

In an article published by Kerrang!, Moby explained that he wanted to ‘shine a light on the surprising and inspiring history of punk rock and animal rights’ with the film.

The musician said he wanted ‘to remind people of the importance and desperate urgency of adopting the uncompromising ethics and actions of the original punk rock activist.’

‘After it makes its world premiere at Slamdance, it’s yours,’ the animal rights activist said. ‘It’s my goal to give the movie away, as I can’t in good conscience try to profit from what is essentially a labor of love and activism.’

Moby wore a casual ensemble with a gray T-shirt that showed off the the words ‘animal rights’ tattooed on his arms.

He wore a pair of forest green fitted pants and brown hiking boots.

The Gaybysitters actress opted for a simple yet chic all-black ensemble and styled her dog Bagel to match.

She wore a mock-neck long-sleeved top with a pair of wide-legged trousers and black boots.

According to the aforementioned article, his film Punk Rock Vegan Movie features various names from the rock and metal world – including, but not limited to, Ian Mackaye, Dave Navarro, Tim McIlrath, and Amy Lee.

In the film, they speak about ‘the intertwining relationship between music and veganism’.
