Martha Stewart has got a lot people talking on social media after showcasing her face and complexion in a couple of new instagram posts.
On Sunday, the 81-year-old businesswoman, writer and television personality shared a close-up of her face while leaning back on a sink getting her hair washed at a salon.

Skin test: Martha Stewart, 81, boasted her skin is ‘looking good’ when she put her facial beauty and complexion on display in a couple of new posts on Instagram on Sunday
In the first post, which gets up-close on her complexion, Stewart appears to be wearing minimal makeup with her hair doused in water and shampoo.
‘Lying in the shampoo area of @FredericFekkai the light was perfect for a new selfie!!!’ she began in the caption. ‘Absolutely no re-imaging!!! Skin looking good after a mostly dry January and pilates @bedfordpilates every other day. By re -imaging I meant no filtering my selfie !’
A couple of hours later, the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia founder went back to Instagram and shared three more photos that were taken at the salon.
‘These are the other three selfies I took. My expression was better in the first one but my skin looks great in all of them,’ she bragged in the caption, adding, ‘Un filtered. No face lift. Great derms my whole life.
She concluded, ‘Currently dr Daniel Belkin and dr Dhaval Bhanusali great diet. Great exercise and did I mention amazing facials @mariobadescu for the last forty years!’
Natural: Stewart first posted a close-up of her complexion, while seemingly wearing minimal makeup, where she claims to have not done any re-imaging
A slew of people weighed in on the showcase of her facial beauty and complexion with one or more flame emojis, notating she looks hot.
But there were many people who didn’t believe the all natural claim in regards to her face and complexion.
‘All good.! Don’t miss represent the reality of aging! Define gracefully…nothing wrong with transparency! You look wonderful….just saying it isn’t authentic….call it as it is!’ wrote on person.
‘I’m your biggest fan Martha but seriously you have a top notch surgeon & skin care. It’s ok but the rest of us general public can’t do that so please just keep us, the general public in mind while you are getting your hundreds of dollars hair care done & showing off. Just please be real. Still love you,’ wrote another.
‘No filers. No face lift’: The lifestyle expert also shared three more photos of her complexion in a second post on Instagram on Sunday, where she boasted about having ‘good skin’

Not buying it: Many people didn’t believe Stewart’s claim to be all natural claim in regards to her face and complexion
In keeping with the critics who called her out for having some work done on her face, one commenter kept it simple writing, ‘Plastic surgery and injections look fantastic!’ and another followed suit, declaring, ‘Absolutely no re-imaging come on please. Please be truthful honest and real.’
There seemed to be an endless amount of people who just didn’t believe the authenticity of Stewart’s claim of ‘No filers. No face lift.’
‘Lol LOVE HER but this is so misleading as she’s gotten tons of work done and pay too dollars for skin pampering. She looks fabulous but let’s not generalize that she looks like this naturally lol,’ another follower shared.
‘Do better Martha. Our young girls deserve more from us!’ another woman wrote. ‘You set the expectations and examples of what women should look like as they age. This is both dangerous and damaging to our youth. This is not natural beauty at 81 years of age. Grow up! It’s oddly disturbing at your age to portray this. Women stop objectifying yourself and making sexy lips and faces thinking it’s normal. This behavior is for the bedroom, not social media.’
