Baby joy! Maria Menounos, 44, and husband Keven Undergaro, 55, expecting a child via surrogate after 10 YEARS of trying to start a family… as she thanks Kim Kardashian for her ‘help’: ‘We are so grateful!’
TV host Maria Menounos and her husband Keven Undergaro are expecting a child.
The 44-year-old Extra veteran and her 55-year-old spouse – who were seen last month after a workout – are using a surrogate, they shared with People on Tuesday.
They started IVF in 2012 but it did not take, so they turned to surrogacy several years ago, and after a hiccup, they feel confident they will be parents this year.
‘Just after a decade of trying everything, we are so grateful to the beautiful family helping us conceive our baby,’ she told the site on Tuesday. ‘Keven, my dad and I are all beyond excited for this soul to come into our lives. What a blessing.’
She also shared that her longtime friend Kim Kardashian – who welcomed two child via surrogate – helped her with understanding the process.

The couple started thinking about surrogacy in 2018 after IVF did not work for them.
Maria then got advice from her Kardashian, who welcomed Chicago and Psalm via surrogates with her then husband Kayne West.
Sister Khloe also used a surrogate to welcome a son with Tristan Thompson.
‘I was grateful that I had her to share and help me,’ Menounos said of Kim, 42. ‘She was just so lovely and so amazing and very patient with us,’ added the One Tree Hill star.
After surrogacy did not work out in 2021, Maria and Keven tried again, and it has been successful, she said.
Menounos shared that she has worked with Family Match Consulting.
And she walked through her new journey with the site.
