Married At First Sight’s Claire Nomarhas breaks down in tears after she enters the dinner party alone and ‘husband’ Jesse Burford ignores her
Married At First Sight’s Claire Nomarhas became emotional after arriving at Monday night’s dinner party alone.
The 31-year-old entered the gathering without her ‘husband’ Jesse Burford, who arrived shortly afterwards.
‘My heart is racing, I don’t know what to do right now because he won’t look for me across the room,’ an emotional Claire told producers.

‘He won’t make eye contact with me or show me that he has seen me.’
Claire then decided to take a beer over to Jesse and have a chat to him but he didn’t seem interested.
‘Hi, how are you?’ she asked Jesse before he awkwardly responded: ‘Good thanks.’

‘I chased him again but I just got nothing,’ an emotional Claire said before breaking down in tears.
Later in the episode, Bronte confronted Jesse and Claire about their relationship and asked him how he is feeling.
‘I feel like we can accept we are not in the best place but that we can still go ahead and have an ok night,’ Jesse responded.
Claire then decided to take a beer over to Jesse to have a chat to him but he didn’t seem interested. ‘Hi, how are you?’ she asked Jesse (pictured) before he awkwardly responded: ‘Good thanks’
‘You also said you don’t chase girls and you’re not into my loudness and who I pretty much am as I person because you’re not into people like me,’ Claire added.
‘It’s hard for me to accept that you even like me… I got told I’m too strong, confident and independent for him and he can’t bring to the table, the things that he wants to bring because I already have them and he would feel needy.’
Bronte questioned: ‘What do you mean by her loudness? That’s just who she is.’
Jesse then told producers: ‘I’m noticing who is my enemy and who is on my side. Bronte is 100 per cent the enemy. I would rather have a date with my toaster in the bathroom then have to listen to her speak.’
