Love Island’s Shaq Muhammad called out Ron Hall for his flippant treatment of Lana Jenkins in Wednesday’s show.
The hunk was accused of treating the blonde like a ‘safety net’ after he implied that she would always see ‘he’s better’ than new bombshell Casey following their date.
Casey entered the villa earlier in the episode and immediately chose Lana to head out on a date, with Ron seeming unfazed by the fact that she was open to getting to know someone else.
Lana had previously been left devastated when an indecisive Ron admitted his head had been turned by newcomer Samie Elishi, as he admitted he couldn’t compeltely close to door on their romance.
And now, it seems Ron’s behaviour has come back to bite, as Shaq accused him to ‘taking advantage’ of Lana’s kind nature by simple assuming that she would always take him back.

The exchange occurred while Lana was on a date with Casey, with the boys questioning Ron on how he felt about the situation.
He brazenly said: ‘It’s as if people don’t believe when I say to people this is what we needed. She’ll feel the way I felt when she’s grafting another fella and getting to know them, she can’t say nothing about it.
‘She needs to go and do that she needs to go and find out what sort of fella he is, and then realise I’m better.’
Noting Ron’s statement, Shaw said: ‘You and Lana were in a good place, the position you’ve put yourself in now, she’s going to be a lot more open to Casey now.’
Ron added: ‘She needs to be more open, that’s the point,’ wtih Shaq immediately asking: ‘Do you feel like you’ve done anything wrong in the Lana situation.’
‘The one thing I did wrong was something I promised I wouldn’t do,’ Ron said.
Shaq then proceeded to call out Ron on his behaviour, saying: ‘I’m gonna give you the honest, the way you’ve treated that girl, is so out of order.
‘That girl has serious feelings for her, and I feel liekyou’ve taken advantage of her because she’s such a nice girl and you feel like she’s going to be there the whole time.’

Attempting to justify his point, Ron told the boys: ‘All of you must think I treat her like a safety net, I know that she could drop me like that. That’s why I said she needs to get to know Casey!’
The episode proceeded to end on a shocking cliffhanger, with viewers left waiting to see how Ron would react to Shaq’s words.
Earlier in the episode, Ron coupled up with his pal Tanyel after Aaron opted to stay in a pair with Lana.
The hunk struggled to hide his disappointment when Kai Fagan swooped in and coupled up with Samie.

As Kai got to pick a girl first, he chose to recouple with Samie, and many fans immediately clocked Ron’s unimpressed expression as he muttered the word ‘F**k.’
Many viewers took to social media to share their reactions to Kai’s decision, with Ron eventually choosing to couple up with Tanyel, describing her as his ‘best friend’ in the villa.
One wrote: ‘Why is Ron not punching up Kai?’ while another added: ‘Ron is absolutely fumin.’
