Love Island’s voiceover star Iain Stirling suffered an awkward moment on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday when he was quizzed about new host Maya Jama.
Host Ed Balls, 55, asked him: ‘Have you said to [Maya], “Can you come over for a chat?” or “I’m sending you a text?”‘ referencing some of the show’s famous catchphrases.
Iain, 34, replied: ‘To Maya Jama? I’m sure my wife would have something to say about that if that happened.’

Maya, 28, took over the role from Iain’s wife Laura Whitmore this year and made her show debut on Monday night, to rave reviews.

The slow-mo walk is a show staple and sees the presenter coming into the villa wearing knock-out outfits.

Maya made quite a splash as Love Island’s brand new host this week.
But viewers were left gutted after she was absent from the show’s second episode on Tuesday – declaring the series ‘boring’ without her.
While the singletons battled it out in their first challenge, Maya jetted back to London before returning to South Africa later this week.
Maya took over hosting duties from Laura, 37, and has become an instant hit with viewers.
Tuesday’s episode saw Tom Clare ruffle feathers during as he coupled up with Olivia Hawkins leaving Will Young single and at risk.
The hunky footballer, 23, who was a late arrival into the South African villa, had all the power as he chose the stunning ring girl leaving Will vulnerable.
However, viewers were left less than impressed as they rushed to Twitter to say they felt bad for Will as Olivia didn’t ‘try to hide her smile when her name was called’.
Fans joked that the farmer needs to ‘smile through the pain’, as he was left sitting solo around the fire pit.
‘I just knew he’d pick Olivia… aww look at Will’s face, but come on, surely he knew that Tom would pick her…’ wrote one fan.

Will and Olivia were coupled up after she was ditched by the popular hunk Kai Fagan, during the launch show.
The pair left fans cringing as they shared a toe-curling hug after being coupled up failing to convince viewers that they were a legitimate match, with many insisting that they had zero chemistry.
