Love Island star Teddy Soares breaks his silence on ‘split’ from Faye Winter as he says he has ‘nothing but respect’ for her
Teddy Soares has broken his silence on the rumours that his relationship with Faye Winter is now over.
The couple, who met on the ITV2 show Love Island, are said to have gone their separate ways after a year-and-a-half of dating.
Teddy took to his Instagram story on Saturday, but kept his cards close to his chest as he said he has ‘nothing but respect’ for the stunning blonde.
He also stated that he did not wish to comment on speculation or rumours and asked his fans for privacy.
Teddy said: ‘Everything you have been reading in the press is false. I have had nothing but love and respect for Faye since we first met.’

He continued the post with, ‘I do not wish to comment on rumours speculating our relationship and ask for you to respect our privacy at this time. Love Teddy.’

The Instagram story comes after fans noticed that the pair had been noticeably absent from each other’s social posts.
It was reported last month that the couple was ‘in crisis talks’ regarding their relationship.
A source told The Sun at the time, ‘Things haven’t been working between Teddy and Faye for a while now.
‘The tension bubbled over a couple of weeks ago, and they’ve been spending some time apart trying to figure out what they want.’
However, according to the source, Faye was still fighting, hoping to save the relationship.
‘Faye is fighting to save their relationship and hopes they’ll be able to get back on track.’
It comes after Faye recently tried to add more fuel to the fire by posting some racy Valentine’s Day snaps to her Instagram.

At the end of the post, she also gave fans a hint that she is working on falling in love with herself again.

Faye was one of the original girls on the 2021 Love Island show, and she first coupled up with Brad McClelland.
Later on in the series, she went on to couple up with Liam Reardon. However, Teddy soon after walked in to shake things up in the villa.
Faye and Teddy then ended up together, making the perfect match. However, their relationship was tested when it was time for Casa Amor, and they faced some struggles along the way.
However, the couple still came out of the show strong, leaving the villa as boyfriend and girlfriend.
Because in her caption she the star added, ‘Valentine’s isn’t just for couples it’s also a time to fall in love with yourself…’
