Late-night kisses, Aussie expats and a recoupling that brought people to tears – what else could it be but a Friday night in the Love Island villa?
It appears the first fully-fledged romance of the series may be burgeoning between Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall – but not if Tanyel Revan has anything to say about it.
Tensions calmed somewhat following Thursday night’s blow-up between Shaq Mohammad and Haris Namani – but the pair still were forced to have an awkward chat as they tried to bury the hatchet.
Meanwhile, the first person dumped from the villa was none other than David Salako who sadly had a short stint after only arriving two days ago as a bombshell.
With two new Aussie islanders set to stir things up over the weekend, MailOnline is here to answer your every question about the goings on in the villa.
‘You’re trying to dad me!’
Love Island fans couldn’t help but laugh at Haris Namani after he told Shaq Muhammad ‘don’t dad me’ during Friday night’s episode.
The 21-year-old TV salesman is the youngest boy in the villa and the second youngest islander, behind Anna-May, 20.
But plenty of viewers said Haris ‘showed his age’ during Friday’s episode as he hit out at Shaq.

Shade: Love Island fans couldn’t help but laugh at Haris Namani after he told Shaq Muhammad ‘don’t dad me’ during Friday night’s episode
The altercation occurred after Shaq suggested Haris was ‘immature’ after a fallout during Thursday’s episode.
Speaking to Shaq, 24, in the garden, Haris, said: ‘The only thing that got to me is to call me a s**t stirrer, that’s a big thing.’
The airport security staff member explained to Haris how he was feeling about the situation and whether he’s happy to put it to bed – pointing out that Haris’ behaviour was a result of his immaturity.
Haris then responded: ‘Nah don’t dad bro. I feel like you’re trying to dad me’.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘”Don’t dad me bro” Haris babes your age is showing you sound like a Year 8’.
Another commented: ‘”Don’t try to ‘dad’ me”. I’m screaming’.
‘Lol don’t try dad me. Na what was this convo’, another viewer said.
One Love Island fan pointed out that Haris was proving Shaq’s point about him being immature.
They wrote: ‘Haris fr proved Shaq’s point about being immature with the “don’t dad me”, it’s called constructive criticism and coming to an understanding, not belittling or talking down to you’.

Love Island descended into chaos on Thursday night as a huge fight erupted between Haris and Shaq following the beer pong game.

The two islanders had to be held apart by the other boys as they almost came to blows in a tense stand-off as they boys had a debrief about the earlier challenge.
The drama kicked off as Haris commented on new bombshell David’s steamy kiss with Shaq’s partner Tanya, causing Shaq to brand the TV salesman a ‘s**t stirrer’.
Newcomer David had earlier been dared to kiss the islander he fancies the most for 30 seconds, and after flirting up a storm with Tanya, it was inevitable that he was going to pick her – much to Shaq’s chagrin.
And as the boys sat down later to discuss the events of the game, Haris asked David what he made of the kiss, causing Shaq to accuse him to trying to cause trouble.

Eek! The airport security staff member explained to Haris how he’s feeling about the situation and whether he’s happy to put it to bed
The two then begin arguing and throwing insults at each other, with things becoming more and more heated.
Haris was heard telling the airport security officer to ‘Shut the f**k up’, to which Shaq angrily responded: ‘You shut the f**k up you f**king p****’
Haris then ordered Shaq not to speak to him like that, with Shag fuming: ‘I’ll speak to you however I want!’
The other boys were then forced to then step in and stop things from escalating, with Haris and Shaq dragged to separate parts of the villa to keep them apart.
He’s just not that into you
Viewers have praised Ron Hall for letting down Zara Lackenby-Brown gently on Friday’s episode of Love Island.
They’ve been flirting since she arrived in the villa but things have come to an end between the pair.
Bombshell Zara pulled Ron for a chat while he was speaking with Lana Jenkins, who he is currently coupled up with.

However, the conversation didn’t appear to go to plan as Ron told Zara that he has got ‘really close’ with Lana – and kissed her mere minutes later.
Ron said: ‘I’ve had that connection from her with her from the start. Instead of investing 75pc of my energy in one girl and then exploring…’
Zara said: ‘Do you not feel like you owed me a conversation about that?’
Ron replied: ‘It’s only after seeing you building things with Tom.’

Moments later, Ron and Lana headed up to the balcone where he told her about his conversation with Zara.
He told her: ‘I spoke to Zara, she’s out of the picture.’
Ron then leaned in and gave her a kiss, with Lana saying in the Beach Hut: ‘It genuinely feels like he has a connection with me. This is a step in the right direction.’

Love Island viewers were left baffled during Friday’s episode as Lana Jenkins cried after Tanyel Revan chose Ron Hall in the recoupling.
Things heated up between Lana and Ron as they shared a kiss on the balcony after Ron told Zara Lackenby-Brown he had stronger feelings for the blonde.
But Tanyel wasn’t about to let that stop her from choosing Ron in the recoupling, leaving Lana forced to choose Will Young, who she sees as more of a friend.

After Tanyel chose Ron, Lana was immediately seen tearing up, to which Tanyel said: ‘I feel so bad’.
With only Will and David Salako left, Lana admitted she was in a ‘s**t’ situation and chose to couple up with Will.
She said: ‘I’ve decided to couple up with this boy, although this decision is s**t, this guy has been consistent in showing me a lot of attention and he’s always really funny.’
However, many viewers couldn’t understand why Lana was so upset after only knowing Ron for four days.

Watch out Lana: Although Ron and Lana recently kissed, that didn’t stop Taneyl from choosing him
One Twitter user wrote: ‘No way Lana’s crying. You’ve known the guy for two seconds, don’t be silly.’
Another wrote: ‘Four days! Why is Lana crying?’ while a third added: ‘Lana crying from first recoupling She’s not gonna handle Casa Amor.’
A fourth said: ‘Why is Lana crrying? Babe that’s not your man.’

End of the road
David Salako was the first Love Islander to leave the villa on Friday night after the first recoupling of the series.
The 24-year-old bombshell had been cracking on with Tanya Manhenga since entering, but Friday night’s episode saw her choose Shaq Muhammad.
As the boys gathered around the fire pit, the girls were given their pick of who to couple up with.

Lana Jenkins was the last to step forward – with only David and Will young left to be chosen.
Hoping to couple up with someone else, Lana admitted she was in a ‘s**t’ situation and chose to couple up with Will.
She said: ‘I’ve decided to couple up with this boy, although this decision is s**t, this guy has been consistent in showing me a lot of attention and he’s always really funny.’
Though she chose Will she had presumably been hoping to couple up with Ron Hall – who made clear earlier in the episode that he was only interested in her.
