Katy Perry stuns in metallic dress alongside Miranda Kerr at the G’Day USA Arts Gala in Los Angeles

Katy Perry made a statement as she led the celebrity arrivals at the 20th annual G’Day USA Arts Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 38-year-old pop queen looked sensational in a shiny metallic bralette top paired with a matching floor-length ballgown skirt.

The California Gurls singer styled her black tresses pulled back with bangs framing her face and accessorized with coordinated silver bracelets and dangling earrings.

The event is spearheaded by the American Australian Association and celebrates Australians who are prominent in the U.S. entertainment industry.

The G’Day kudos are meant to highlight figures from film, TV, music and culture that have enhanced Hollywood-Australia relations in an effort to strengthen ties between the two countries.

The gala planned a special tribute to Australian superstar Olivia Newton-John who died in August at the age of 73.

Perry had the honor of presenting the model and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr with the coveted Excellence in the Arts award.

Before the handoff, the duo  posed up a storm together on the blue carpet.

The Australian model – who was previously married to Orlando Bloom from 2010 to 2013 – wowed in a glamorous white dress for the evening.

Miranda’s stylish strapless dress featured gathering along the front and clinched in at her waist to emphasize her toned physique. 

The Sydney-born model oozed old Hollywood glam with retro waves in her hair and opted for a natural makeup palette consisting of blush and a pink lip. 

The Roar hitmaker presented the organization’s Excellence in the Arts kudo to model ,and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr and the two beauties turned heads as they posed up a storm together at the event

She finished her look with sparkly silver shoes and several silver rings. 

Bloom began dating Perry in 2016, and they became engaged in 2019. Their daughter Daisy was born on August 26, 2020.

Kerr previously opened up on the Drew Barrymore Show in November 2020 about how she formed a strong bond with Perry during family events with her 11-year-old son Flynn.

‘When it comes to special occasions when we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises [about] what is the best for our whole family,’ Kerr said.

Kerr’s ex husband is Perry’s fiance: The Australian model was previously married to Orlando Bloom who is now engaged to Perry

‘We really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that’s the most important thing.’

Kerry also discussed her son’s close relationship with Perry in 2017 when she said, ‘They get along really well. We are a modern family.’

Kerr shares Flynn with Bloom and has two more sons, Hart and Myles with her new husband, Evan Spiegel, whom she married in 2017.

Bloom is now engaged to Perry and they share a daughter named Daisy.

The happy couple: Katy and Orlando began dating in 2016, briefly parting ways in 2017 before resuming their relationship the following year. Their 2019 engagement was followed by the birth of their first child – a daughter named Daisy Dove – in 2020
