Katie Holmes chose a casual look on Friday morning as she stepped out in New York.
The actress appeared ready for running errands in an oversized gray grandpa cardigan, a white button down shirt with tuxedo pleats and straight leg jeans.
The 44-year-old actress and director appeared to be wearing little makeup behind her dark aviator sunglasses.

The No Apologies actress carried a red shopping bag with a white butterfly on it and her phone, which was also in a red case.

The versatile actress stars as a movie star who contacts a married novelist, and their interaction later puts the man’s marriage to the test.
The stage production is third time the former Dawson’s Creek star has shared her talents on the stage.
She made her Broadway debut in 2008 in a revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, and returned in 2012 in Dead Accounts.


Previews: Katie is starring in the off-Broadway production of The Wanderers at the Roundabout Theater. The play runs through April 2
The regular run of The Wanderers will begin February 16 and go through April 2.
Katie’s latest film, Rare Objects, which she directed, co-wrote and acted in, opens in theaters April 14.
She stars along with Julia Mayorga, who stars as a young woman trying to put aside her traumatic past when she goes to work in an antique store.
