Kate Richie has changed up her hairstyle after a challenging year.Â
The former Home and Away actress, who recently spent time in rehab for alcohol dependency, emerged from a Double Bay salon with a new blonde ‘do on Monday.
After her visit to the hairdresser, the 44-year-old mother of one ran errands around Sydney‘s eastern suburbs.

The Nova FM radio presenter dressed casually in skinny jeans and a denim shirt.
She accessorised with oversized spectacles, sneakers and a crossbody handbag.Â

She seems to be in a much better place than she was late last year when she spent time in a rehab clinic to address her dependence on alcohol.
The media personality recently reassured listeners she was ‘doing well’ and would be back on her Nova FM drive show in a few weeks’ time.
‘Hi all, I’ll be away for a few more weeks,’ she wrote on Instagram, addressing her extended absence from the late-afternoon slot.Â

Kate’s Nova FM co-host Joel Creasey told the Herald Sun on Monday she was ‘feeling great’ ahead of her return to the studio.Â

‘I haven’t seen her in a few months, I’ve missed her and her wicked cackle. She said she’s feeling great and that’s lovely to hear,’ the comedian said.
‘She’s been in showbiz since seven years of age.
‘It’s nice to see [taking a break] being normalised and that you’re allowed to have time off.’
