  • Jordan Belfort was born on July 9, 1961, to a Jewish couple in the Bronx, New York. His father’s name is Max while his mother’s name is Leah who were accountants by profession. He completed his elementary and higher schooling in Bayside, Bronx in the Queens neighborhood. He has been heavily inclined towards business since started. During childhood, Jordan Belfort and his best friend Elliot Loewenstern used to sell ice cream in the beach area and earned $20,000 from this side hustle. 
  • Jordan then enrolled in the American University majoring in biology and he paid his fees from the money he had made from his side hustle. He then enrolled in the University of Maryland to pursue a course in dentistry but soon withdrew after finding out there was no scope for making money as a dentist.
