Lily Allen and Stranger Things star David Harbour have given fans a tour of their luxury Brooklyn townhouse that they have just renovated with the help of AD100 designer Billy Cotton and architect Ben Bischoff of MADE.
The New York-based couple, who tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2020, opened up their home to Architectural Digest.
From an eye-catching tiger-print media room, a luxury kitchen inspired by The Godfather, to floral Parisian-inspired rooms to a stunning walk-in wardrobe filled with designer goods, take a look inside the pair’s incredible brownstone home.
On the bottom floor, the pair created a quirky media room complete with tiger-print carpet and a matching lounge.

Lily said the room is ‘relaxing’ and said the pair watch movies and TV in the area, which leads to their backyard that features a sauna and a cold plunge pool.
Off the media room is even a black toilet that was David’s idea.
However, one of the most impressive rooms is the luxurious and oversized kitchen.
David said the kitchen was designed with the iconic film The Godfather in mind.
‘It’s a layered Italian design theme, based a little on The Godfather movies, this neighbourhood in Brooklyn is an old Italian neighbourhood and we liked the idea of incorporating that aesthetic,’ he said.
‘My priority for this room is I just wanted the light to be bouncing off the walls. It feels very luxurious, warm and functional,’ Lily said.
The kitchen featured cream cabinetry, an oversized island bench, a range cooker, a dining table and lounge as well as an oversized chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
It’s complete with red and white checkered curtains and chairs.

The pair also have a lavish loungeroom they call the ‘garden room’.
The room is complete with a green lick of paint, floral designer wallpaper and a velvet green lounge.
‘We have this double sided sofa so we can argue and look at each other relaxing at the same time,’ Lily said with a laugh.
One bathroom carries on the floral theme but is blue in colour and features quirky pink accents, including a pink fridge.
David also had gold swan taps installed and commode cabinets that they bought at auction, which was inspired by those they saw at Versailles.
David said they wanted a ‘Parisian feeling’ in the room.
‘You wanted florals and they delivered for you baby,’ Lily said.
In a quirky touch, Lily also joked about the embroidered print they have in the room which is of ‘sexually transmitted diseases’.
‘You’ve had that since I’ve known you, it’s amazing by the way,’ he said.
The pair then showed off their windowless pink bedroom, which had a vintage and retro feel.
Lily said her actor father Keith Allen bought her the flamingo artwork that now hangs above her and David’s pink bed.
‘David, he’s a vampire so we close these doors and he can sleep or watch TV to 2pm in the afternoon,’ she said with a laugh.

There is also a vanity mirror and seat if Lily wants to get ready and do her makeup in the closet.
The 47-year-old Stranger Things star and singer-songwriter Lily, 37, started dating in 2019 and got married in September 2020 in Las Vegas.
David has become a stepfather to Lily’s daughters Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10, who she shares with ex-husband Sam Cooper.

David portrays father figure Jim Hopper in Stranger Things and has previously said the role helped prepare him to be a stepfather to Lily’s daughters.
The family enjoyed a vacation to St Barts in December.
In July last year, David opened up about his marriage to Lily and gushed about his wife.
‘I’m so grateful that I’m not alone anymore, and that I have someone that I can tell everything to and who can tell me everything,’ he sweetly told People.
‘We can share this experience of walking through life together.’
He added: ‘I’m always so overcome with gratitude for that, because I’ve been alone for most of my life.’
