The plot of
the serial is that Imlie, an 18-year-old tribal girl, lives in the village Pagdandiya on the borders of Uttarakhand. Aditya Tripathi, a well-known journalist, travels to the area in quest of Satyakam. Imlie leads him to Satyakam, but Imlie and Aditya are compelled to stay the night together in a small hut due to a storm. When the inhabitants of Pagdandiya arrive in the morning, they misinterpret the entire situation and compel Aditya to marry Imlie at gunpoint. Imlie Drama Story:
Imlie is a Desi Serial, The role of Imlie is an 18-year-old girl, comes from the village of Pagdandia in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia district. Meethi, her mother, was ditched by Dev Chaturvedi, a city man. He suppressed that he was married and had a daughter, leaving Meethi pregnant. As a result, the villagers adopted a rule stating that they must marry if a guy spends the night with their female. Satyakam, Imlie’s foster father-like figure, is a farmer turned rebel fighting for Pagdandia’s rights. Imlie receives a scholarship after completing her degree. Aditya is a journalist
located in Delhi who works for Bhaskar Times. Malini Chaturvedi is his best friend, whom he met after his cousin, Nishant, moved abroad. He found a pleasant friendship in her and mistook it for love; however, Malini’s love was always obsessive, and she wanted Adi as a puppet. Before their wedding, Adi travels to Pagdandia for Satyakam’s interview, in which he demonstrates to the world that he is a revolutionist, not a rebel. Imlie assists Adi in exploring the settlement, where they were both forced to stay in a hut due to heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The next day, Imlie’s Nani and the villagers threaten to kill Adi since they believe they both spent the night with the night before. Adi didn’t want to marry; instead, he wanted to die. While the villagers decide to kill Adi, Imlie intervenes and decides to marry Adi to protect his life.Imlie arrives in New Delhi and presents herself as a maid to the Tripathi family to save Adi.
Adi treated her quite harshly and was disrespectful to her while considering forced marriage. She lives in the corner of his house. While Imlie steals everyone’s heart, Adi is concerned that if everyone adores her, it will be heartbreaking for them if she goes one day. Aditya is already engaged to his childhood buddy Malini. Aditya seeks to inform Malini about the realities of his marriage to Imlie. However, he is unable to do so. Meethi and Satyakam, Imlie’s parents, arrive in Delhi, but she refuses to return to Pagdandiya. Aditya eventually comprehends Imlie’s feelings and falls in love with her.
