How to create a custom controller template
You will need a vector application such as Adobe Illustrator. I recommend using the latest version of Illustrator for this process to ensure that you can import your template into other software quickly and easily.
Once you’ve opened up the program, create a new document and set your resolution to 200 dpi.
Next, download an Xbox One controller template from Microsoft’s website if you don’t have one already.
Decide on what color scheme you want your skin to be and what design elements are important to represent your logo or brand name.
Now create a new layer in the document and start drawing in different shapes that make up whatever designs are relevant to your skin design. Choose Object>Clone from the top menu bar of Illustrator so that it creates an identical copy of all the shapes on the new layer then go back to step 3 where you created
What materials are needed to make a controller skin?
