Holly Willoughby collapses in giggles as she shares a cup of tea with the ‘UK’s naughtiest duck’

Keep calm and quack on! Holly Willoughby collapses in giggles as she shares a cup of tea with the ‘UK’s naughtiest duck’

She’s interviewed a range of stars in her time, from A-list celebrities to world leaders.

Yet Holly Willoughby found herself face-to-face with a very unusual guest during Wednesday’s episode of This Morning as she spent time with Ham, the ‘UK’s naughtiest duck’.

Alongside co-host Phillip Schofield, the 41-year-old presenter was left in hysterics as she chatted to Ham and his owner Charlotte Taylor-Dugdale in the studio.

Ham is a local feathered celebrity in Lancashire due to his cheeky antics, with the bird often spotted enjoying walks or car rides in the town.

The four-year-old Indian Runner Duck proved to be the perfect guest, sitting calmly and quietly until Holly offered him a cup of tea.

Having learned from his owner that Ham was a fan of a warm brew, Holly couldn’t resist offering up her mug.

‘Do you want a stretch and a cup of tea?’ Holly asked: ‘Ooh you do like a little cup of tea!’

After flapping his wings, Ham waddled on over to take a few gulps, but the messy drinker made quite the mess on the carpet.

Phil was quick to jump in and take the mug away at this point, remarking: ‘We’re going to take that away because I don’t know how healthy it is for you to have a lot.’

Holly fared better with the farmyard animal than former co-host Emily Atack, who previously revealed she was left ‘traumatised’ after dropping a lamb live on air while presenting This Morning.

The actress and co-host John Barrowman were filling in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford in 2018 when they interviewed a farmer and his flock about lambing season, but things did not go to plan.

The This Morning set is no stranger to animal mishaps, with Holly previously jumping up onto the sofa and cowering in fear behind Phillip when Ingrid Tarrant brought her pet pig George onto the programme.
