Giovanna Fletcher reveals plans for ‘silly’ and ‘intimate’ vow renewal with husband Tom

Giovanna Fletcher has revealed plans to renew her wedding vows with husband Tom after 11 years of marriage.

The McFly singer, 37, and I’m A Celeb winner, 38, tied the knot in 2012 and have enjoyed over 11 years together. 

But the podcast host has now admitted that she’s planning on hosting a small get-together for the pair to re-affirm their love for each other.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: ‘It’ll be a silly intimate celebration of love. It won’t be anything flash or over the top.

‘We can definitely say that we don’t know who we would be without each other in our lives,’ she adds.

‘We know each other inside out and I couldn’t imagine being with someone who I felt like I had to put a full face of make-up on for every day, or behave a certain way for. 

‘I think confidence within a couple is being allowed to be yourself, and you don’t have to pretend in any way whatsoever. Tom gives that to me, absolutely.’ 

The pair share a long history together, and first met when they attended Sylvia Young stage school together.

At 13 they shared their kiss – but it wasn’t until years later that they properly got together for good. 

‘We’d grown up, we’d had other partners, and we just seemed to work, in a different way,’ Giovanna recalled. 

Together the couple share three children, Buzz, eight, Buddy, six, and four-year-old Max.

But they still make time for each other.

Giovanna added: ‘Because we’ve both got busy schedules it would be so easy for us to be quite forgetful of each other, so for us it’s about making sure that we tune in.

‘We show each other love by making each other laugh. There’s nothing sexier, I’d take the guy that can make you laugh over the guy with 10,000 muscles any day.’

Meanwhile, she’s not interested in having any more kids, saying: ‘That shop was shut after Max. 

‘I just had this moment of clarity, of “this is the last time I’m gonna do this”. And I was content with that thought.’

Only a few months ago the pair seemed in high spirits as they attended the VIP screening of The Snowman with Penguin Random House.

The couple cosied up together as they posed on the red carpet at the ODEON Luxe in Leicester Square ahead of the festive film. 

The pair cut casual figures as they beamed at the star studded event. 

Giovanna looked effortlessly chic in a colourful jumper which she teamed with blue jeans and a large orange coat which boasted a fur hood.

Meanwhile the Obviously singer opted for a navy velvet jacket over a grey T-shirt and blue trousers.
