Former Governor General Quentin Bryce dazzled as she attended the opening night of Hamilton in Brisbane on Tuesday night. 

The 80-year-old ruled the red carpet event alongside her son, Tom Bryce, with the pair beaming for photos. 

Bryce dazzled in a white lace dress with an off the shoulder design and a layer of sheer panels in the wide shoulders.

The academic chose a warm makeup look with glowing bronzer and a dark pink lipstick, while wearing her grey locks in waves off her face. 

She completed her ensemble with gold accessories, including earrings, a choker and bracelets.

Tom meanwhile looked smart in a black blazer with a silk pocket square, and matching trousers. 

He added a white shirt with a few buttons undone and a pair of leather dress shoes.
