Angie told Nine Entertainment on Saturday that she’s relished the career move, revealing that she started on her own ‘up-cycling’ after recently moving into an older property.

‘I go into each home and find either a prized possession or an item that doesn’t look like it has much use, find out the value and then bring it back to life,’ Angie said of her role on the show.

‘We spend a week with these people, sometimes even less , and to watch them get unstuck from their rut and transform into new people is just so rewarding.’

‘My favourite tip from Peter is that if you haven’t worn it in the last year, you don’t need it. Just give it to somebody who’s going to use it,’ Angie advised.

The Gogglebox favourite said that fans can look forward to seeing Space Invaders staying down-to-earth this season.

‘I’ve watched this show and loved it and now I’m just like one of audience members at home that’s getting involved.’ she said.

Meanwhile, Angie revealed last year that she found romance while working on the show.

During one episode of her Two Girls One Pod podcast in September, Angie told listeners that she went on a date with one of the cameramen from Space Invaders.

Angie told her co-host Yvie Jones that she was nervous about mixing work and pleasure.

Angie concluded the discussion by revealing she’s placed a strict caveat on her fledging new romance.

‘I was just like, “We can hang out, but let’s not get sexual until after filming’s done,”‘ she said.
