Red Hot Chili Peppers fans have walked away from their Aussie shows disheartened after the band failed to play one of their most iconic songs.
The California rock group left Under the Bridge out of their set list during their Brisbane and Sydney shows as they kicked off their Australia tour with Post Malone.
Fans in Sydney left Accor Stadium on Thursday night miserable, with one devastated female fan posting to TikTok to complain.

‘When you go to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert and they don’t play Under the Bridge,’ the woman wrote alongside the video while pouting her bottom lip.
‘Post Malone did a shoey and smashed a guitar to pieces though,’ she added in her caption.
Fans also vented their frustration on Facebook, with one writing: ‘Wish I could take back my decision to go to RHCP. Absolutely gutted by that performance.’
‘Well that was disappointing, definitely won’t be seeing them again!!!’ said another.
‘Good experience (but) won’t see em again. Their set was new song focused and the crowd struggled to feel it,’ another added.
‘Been their biggest fan all my life and after that concert would never go again. Played a few old songs but mostly new rubbish that no one knows.’

Meanwhile, concertgoers in Brisbane wistfully sang their own version of the track while on the way home from the concert on Sunday, January 29.

In July, Red Hot Chili Peppers announced they’d be touring Australia and New Zealand alongside Post Malone.
Due to popular demand, they added second shows for Sydney and Melbourne.
It has been four years since Post Malone last performed in Australia and Red Hot Chili Peppers hasn’t toured Down Under since 2019.

Anthony Kiedis added the story of the band is ‘not a story of individuals’.
