Charlotte, who had a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy in 2016, also explained why she opted not to have a natural birth.
Sweet: The Geordie Shore star, 32, welcomed her first child Alba in October and discussed her elective C-section, calling it a ‘calm and beautiful’ experience
She revealed: ‘Ultimately I had a choice of how I wanted to deliver my baby girl (a choice in which we all have by the way) and that choice was one of which I knew exactly how it was going to go, with little chances of complications or risks to her health or life.
‘After losing a baby and nearly loosing my own life in a complicated pregnancy in the past. I’m not willing to risk anything now and also I have ZERO desire or urge to want a natural birth. I’ll never rule it out in the future. But right now it’s a no go for me.’
Detailing her recovery, she explained: ‘I felt certain little twinges in my scar when I would move or turn a certain way, so I genuinely felt I had to be really careful for the full 6 weeks!
‘I was in absolutely no pain at all, but I knew I still wasn’t fully healed so I did admittedly get frustrated at like week 4/5 because I literally wanted to be bouncing around doing summersaults but something in the back on my head was like no no be careful [sic].’

For now Charlotte is recovering on motherhood and also getting her fitness levels back post-partum.
Sharing a before and after picture taken after five weeks of workouts, she penned: ‘Everything is shrinking even my lips im not going to lie I’ve had no rest days and really committed myself to being active even if it’s just a walk!!! [sic]’

Octomum: She revealed that she is certain she wants another child, however, as when a fan said they could imagine her having ‘eight children’ she agreed
She continued: ‘Working out makes me feel like me! My energetic, driven positive can conquer the world self and even tho most of my workouts have been done at home with my little Alba watching in awe, I do feel it’s given me, lovely breaks from just being a “mam” and taking care of myself in a way I love to!
‘Doing something for yourself as often as possible is so so so so important as a parent! And it’s also very important to know that you still absolutely can be YOU and take care of YOU and not just be a mam [sic].’
Yet she isn’t focusing on weight loss, as Charlotte revealed she’s ‘not a***d’ about how much she weighs.

Feeling good: She isn’t focusing on weight loss, as Charlotte revealed she’s ‘not a***d’ about how much she weighs
She explained: ‘I still havnt weighed myself again since my 3 pound loss. Atm I’m not a***d about what the scales are saying because I’m feeling F***ing fabulous!!!! But I will check back in with the dreaded scales once my periods been and gone! [sic].’
Charlotte then went on to address her decision to dissolve her lip fillers last month, admitting she’s warmed to her new look after her initial hesitations.

Looking good: Charlotte then went on to address her decision to dissolve her lip fillers last month, admitting she’s warmed to her new look after her initial hesitations
Reason: Charlotte previously said it’s since having a child that she considered the move after seeing herself on the Geordie Shore reunion episode (right, before her fillers were dissolved)
Previously speaking on the Nova Podcast, Charlotte explained: ‘I did not get my lips dissolved because of trolls, because quite frankly, I’ve been trolled for so long about them and I did not care.
‘I absolutely love my lips, but it got to the point, after pregnancy they had swelled a lot. Like in pregnancy you have a lot of water retention.
‘Everything swells, you know your ankles, your face, your wrists, your fingers, your toes, like everything swells in pregnancy.
‘I watched Geordie Shore reunion and I was watching it and I was like, “I look ridiculous”. For the first time, I was like “I look ridiculous”.
‘And obviously I’ve had a little girl now, you know what I mean? I thought to myself when I was watching myself on TV, and when I’m up in my little girl’s face… and I’m going [baby babble], and I’m doing all these silly noises, can she even see us over them humongous lips?
‘Can she even see who I am as a person? Eight years I’d been getting my lips done. That’s a lot of filler in them lips. And I thought it’s all got to go.’
Shock: The former Geordie Shore star admitted she never thought she’d ‘see the day’ that she would opt for a more natural look (right pictured in 2014)
