Alicia Silverstone, 46, channels her Clueless character Cher as she reenacts iconic scene

Alicia Silverstone channeled one of her most iconic roles in a new video shared on Tuesday.

In the clip, the 46-year-old actress dressed up in the instantly-recognizable, yellow plaid skirt suit as worn by her character Cher in the 1995 coming-of-age classic Clueless.

The Golden Globe-nominated star – who also paid homage to the teen romcom on the 27th anniversary last year – played with a piece of gum just like her character did during the scene where she was giving a speech in class.

In the caption of her video, she wrote: ‘I’m just gonna leave this here.’

The newly shared video showed her sporting an almost-identical set to the original costume worn by Cher.

The mother-of-one wore a cropped blazer jacket with an additional red detail to the plaid design.

She paired it with the matching miniskirt and donned a simple white top that was tucked into her skirt.

For jewelry, she rocked a gold necklace with the letter ‘C’ initial for Cher and wore a pair of dainty gold earrings.

Over the years, the Miss Match alum has kept her classic blonde tresses the same and looked almost identical to the scene that was filmed nearly 28 years ago.

In the original scene, she wore white knee-high socks and heels which were not seen in the clip as she was standing behind a podium just like she did in the film.

The hit classic – directed by filmmaker Amy Heckerling – was loosely based on Jane Austen’s 1815 novel Emma.
